Deposit
A non-refundable deposit may be charged on advanced bookings. This will be 20% of the agreed price or a minimum of £30.00, (whichever is the greater).
Cancellation charges
Where a booking has been arranged, it may be cancelled not less than 24 hours before the agreed pick up time, from the Southend on Sea area, at no extra charge, other than any non-refundable deposit.
If the pick up is outside the Southend on Sea area, it may be cancelled not less than 24 hours before the vehicle has to set off from the Southend on Sea area.
If the vehicle has already set off, then the mileage already covered will have to be paid for.
The cancellation charge for any booking cancelled within the 24 hours as stated above, will be 20% of the agreed fare, plus the non-refundable deposit.
Waiting time, tolls etc.
Waiting time will be charged for each complete 30 minutes.
Any parking fees acquired during this waiting time, or as part of the agreed hire, must be paid for by the hirer.
Please note that any car parking and waiting time are in addition to the agreed fare, unless otherwise stated. If the job is a no show for any reason (including incorrect information supplied by the hirer) then the full agreed fare plus any reasonable parking and or waiting will be charged.
All tolls and other charges will be included in the stated fare unless otherwise mentioned, except if they were not expected or mentioned at the time of booking.
Please be aware that dependant on vehicle availability, Essex Executive Cars may procure the services of other companies to provide a similar vehicle to that requested.
Discounts
All prices quoted, unless otherwise stated, assume payment on or before the day of hire, and therefore include a 20% prompt payment discount.
